Recent MUPA Concerns + MUMGRO & 2nd Town Hall

We hear your concern about the recent lack in communication on opportunities for postgrads, in particular the PhD Global Mobility. We have raised this matter with the Monash University Malaysia Graduate Research Office (MUMGRO) who are looking into it. MUMGRO was officially established on 1 September 2024 and its primary focus is to support your graduate research journey and handle matters related to your candidature. Some key information as follows.

MUMGRO Town Hall

You’re highly encouraged to attend this second Town Hall on campus to discuss planned activities as well as raise any concerns, issues or questions. More details in the registration form. Lunch will be provided to all participants.

MUMGRO Induction Guide

For newly enrolled graduate research students (GRS), refer to the campus induction guide, which is available on the MUMGRO website. The guide may also be useful for current students who wish to refresh on candidature matters.

In-Person Enquiries at the Student Hub (MUMGRO)

We are pleased to let you know that you can walk into the Student Hub (Building 3, Level 1) from Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, and on Friday from 9am to 1pm. MUMGRO staff will be available to attend to your walk-in enquiries. Please note that there will be a lunch break from 12pm to 2pm on Monday, and from 1pm to 2pm on Tuesday to Thursday.

MUMGRO has established a dedicated MUMGRO Helpdesk specifically for all research students and encourage you to direct your enquiries through this helpdesk. Please expect a response within 3 working days.
