| What is it? | An initiative to promote, recognize, and reward excellence in graduate research supervision and support at Monash University Malaysia (MUM). This award, exclusively driven by student nominations, is an opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate supervisors, co-supervisors and support staff (eg. management, technical support staff etc.) for their exceptional guidance and support. This is a fantastic way to express gratitude and recognize MUM staff dedication and outstanding support in students’ learning journey. | Designed to recognize exceptional achievements of postgraduate students at Monash University Malaysia (MUM), this award is given to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, research excellence, leadership, and contributed to the MUM community. This is a unique opportunity for students to showcase their hard work, leadership, and contribution to the university’s success. |
| Who Can Be Nominated? / Who Can Apply? | All MUM postgraduate students are encouraged to nominate staff (eg. their supervisors, co-supervisors, research managers, learning / academic support staff etc) who have made a significant impact on their learning journey. | This award is open to all MUM postgraduate students who have shown remarkable dedication and accomplishment in their field and contribution to the MUM community. |
| How to Apply? | To nominate an academic staff: nomination form link To nominate a non-academic staff: nomination form link | Applicants will need to submit the following documents to mupa.president@monash.edu 1) their CV; 2) motivation letter indicating the reason they are deserving of this award. |
| What are the judging criteria? | Refer to this guidelines. All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by the MUPA committee. | Refer to this guidelines. All submissions will be thoroughly evaluated, and only the most deserving candidate from each school will be selected by their respective School Evaluation Committees. |
